The last 2 days were fantastic, I got to meet a lot of Carp anglers and had a lot of fun doing so. I counted about ten 30lbs being caught though unfortunately no 40's though quite a few just under. many of the guys broke their PB's notably Radu doing so twice with a 39.6lb and a 39.7lb, also Chad with a superb 33.12lb, well done guys.

Saturdays fishing was quite patchy and only a few swims produced, leaving many blanking. I am sure nobody knew who was going to win, it was very tight between the Bates Bro's, the Wacker Bait team and the Reed Mills team. As it turned out it rested on a fish in the last 5 minutes going to Rod Mills with a 17lb Common. (see below)
