Hi NJCarpFisherman, there are some websites _base_d in the U.S. that sell carp specific equipment(I.E. rod pods,bite alarms,etc.) And of course...the most popular auction site in the U.S.(You know which one) has a large selection to choose from.As long as you dont mind mail order,these items should be quite easy to obtain.If you are looking for an actual store to walk in and puchase carp specific gear in the states,you may be hard pressed to find one locally.If interested,I can PM you some _link_s to U.S. _base_d carp equipment suppliers.

I bought mine online at http://www.bigcarptackle.com/store/home.php?cat=289 I don't think you will find many US physical stores (if any) that stock them yet. Hopefully Carp fishing will gain enough popularity so that stores like Cabela's will change their minds.
