You have listed all rivers, is that your preference?

Anyway I fish on Wonderlake in the village of wonderlake and taking carp out is easy. It is a private lake but the carp are plentiful around here. There should be no problem finding them just about anywhere.

The couple of weeks ago I went to a restaurant on the Fox River. While we were there my son was feeding scraps of food to the ducks and the carp came over to enjoy some french fries as well. There were several that appeared to be about 12 pounds and they even let my son "pet" them.

I have heard that people have pulled much larger ones from down by the damn.

I do prefer rivers around here as they have less fishing pressure, and seems like I get the bigger fish from a river vs. a lake.

The decrease in fishing pressure might be in part due to the fact the rivers are a bit harder to fish and are somewhat "snaggier" but it's a small price to pay for a 30lb. carp!

I've never fished the Fox River. Would love to explore it someday...Maybe you could show me around.

definitely go to the dam! These are great places to catch large carp!

Let me know how it goes.
