can you please help me out to find a good spot to catch carp, I live in the San Fernando Valley and clueless about fishing lakes

Hi vargatoncsi, welcome to the boards! I've lived in so. Ca. for many years. Although I'm not very familiar with the San Fernando Vally area, I'm confident in the fact that in most lakes in the central to so. Ca. regions you will find carp! Try using Google Earth or similar to locate waters near you. A bit of scouting these waters will often be enough to determine the existance of carp. You will often see them cruising the surface, jumping, or unfortunately see the carcasses of dead carp on the shore, left to rot by some very narrow minded individuals..You can also try asking some of the locals.
Ca. is a fantastic fishery and has many options. There can be some excellent local saltwater fishing close to you that you may not want to overlook either!
