Hi

I am from the UK and did a lot of carp fishing when I was younger. I now have an 8 year old boy who loves to fish. Other than buying online are there any tackle shops in the Austin area who stock good tackle for carp fishing?

As I have to re kit as my gear is long gone in various moves through the years.

Welcome fellow Brit, bet your kicking yourself now for getting rid of your tackle!!!
Now i can't be sure but juging from a quick online search it dosen't look like there are any fishing shops in your area that supply carp tackle. Im kind of surprised as it seems this website is born from Austin Tx & its admin crew are all fishing down there too. May i suggest you drop them a personal email to ask them where they get there tackle from, but failing that it looks like online shopping may be your best bet, which is a shame as theres no substitute for getting the feel of stuff before puchaising.
