I have been seeing these 4 foot carp at my pond right next to shore under my feet. I can't get them to take my bait does anyone have any techniques for catching those fish on rod and reel. Thanks for any advice.

have you tried just using sweet corn on a circle hook with a carolina rig yet?

I have not tried that yet but it sounds really effective! Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I can get them on that.

also throw a handful of corn where you are fishing and throw your hook bait in the same spot
