Years ago a older gentleman showed me how to make this bait,here's the problem.The only ingredients I can remember is scratch feed, and black strap molasses. Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks, BILLY

It is a pack bait. Just can't remember all the stuff to mix it,but from what I do remember it was a good bait for getting the BIG ones.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard the term black bait before, although I'm not exactly sure what the ingredients are, I would imagine any simple and effective packbait flavored with molasses would work. The molasses would create a heavy, sticky, scent and the black color. Molasses has naturally occuring betaine, which is a great attractant/stimulator.
